Rules of the Flight Award under the Collector Programme
I. General rules
- Flight Awards shall be return air tickets issued only for scheduled international flights operated by PLL LOT excluding charter flights and code-share connections operated by other airlines under LO codes.
- Flight Awards can be booked in one of the three travel classes offered by PLL LOT, i.e.: LOT Economy Class, LOT Premium Economy, LOT Business Class.
- The ability to exchange the points collected in the account of a Collector Programme Participant for a Flight Award shall depend on the availability of seats for the flight selected by the Participant.
- Travel under Flight Awards must begin in Hungary or Poland.
- Flight Awards can be issued for journeys for which the airport where the journey begins is different from the airport where the journey ends, provided that they are located in the same country.
- Participants shall bear no airport charges, taxes and costs of issuing air tickets under Flight Awards.
- The maximum length of stay for all travels under Flight Awards is 3 months.
- General terms and conditions of carriage of passengers and luggage of PLL LOT S.A. shall apply to trips under Flight Awards.
II. Ordering Flight Awards
- Flight Awards in LOT Economy Class (X), LOT Premium Economy Class (J) and LOT Business Class (I) can be ordered maximum 6 months and minimum 5 days in advance before the planned travel.
- Orders for Flight Awards can only be made by filling in the relevant form which can be found on the website of the Collector Programme or by contacting the Programme Service Centre on the following phone number: +48 22 606 66 22.
- Flight Awards can only be ordered by a given Participant and issued for the Participant and the accompanying persons indicated by the Participant, which persons accompany the Participant on the same route and the same flight.
- Ordering Flight Awards for children (from 2 years of age) shall result in the same number of points being deducted from the account as in the case of adults.
- Flight Awards cannot be issued for children below 2 years of age. Such tickets shall be issued in accordance with the general principles of air ticket sale of PLL LOT S.A.
III. Principles concerning Flight Awards
1. Flight Awards can be issued in the following variants:
a) Poland–Hungary TICKET (RT) – with the right to reserve, can be issued for a maximum of four segments, transfer permitted only in Poland. Stopovers shall not be allowed. Permitted types of travel: RT as well as SOJ.
b) EUROPE, MIDDLE HAUL AND THE WORLD TICKET (RT) – with the right to reserve, can be issued for a maximum of four segments – including two serving as a way to arrive at the WAW airport, where the travel outside Poland begins. The first segment must begin in Budapest or Warsaw. Permitted types of travel: RT and SOJ. For SOJ travel, the destination and departure airports outside Poland must be located within the same foreign country.
4. The reservation must be confirmed for the entire route.
5. It shall be possible to combine fares among the three fares offered by PLL LOT, i.e.: LOT Economy Class, LOT Premium Economy Class (only long haul flights), LOT Business Class. In such a case, the value of the fare and the point value of the award shall be calculated on the basis of 1/2 of the fares.
IV. Changes
- It shall be possible to change dates and times of flights under Flight Awards free of charge. It shall only be possible to change dates and times of flights for all passengers under a given reservation (the Participant together with the accompanying person or persons).
- Changing the route shall not be allowed.
- Changing the date or time of travel shall be allowed before the travel begins, no later than 1 business day in advance before the planned departure.
- In order to change the reservation of a Flight Award, Participants should contact the Programme Service Centre on the following phone number: +48 22 606 66 22
- Reservations can be changed only within the business hours of the Programme Service Centre.
- The ability to change the date or time of flights shall depend on the availability of seats for the given flights.
- Changing the surname of the passenger who is simultaneously a Participant of the Collector Programme shall not be allowed. It shall be possible to change the full name of the passenger accompanying a Participant of the Collector Programme, provided that the change is made at least 1 business day before the date when the travel begins.
